Dylan made his A-League debut in 2019 for the Central Coast Mariners.

Dylan’s A-League debut and impressive form led to his selection for Australia u18 at the 2019 AFF u18 Championship, in which he was top goal scorer with 6 goals in 5 games playing as the No.10 for the team. Dylan’s inclusion in the older National team squads is a clear sign of his continuing development and a bright future ahead.

Ruiz-Diaz made five A-League appearances for Central Coast Mariners across the 2019-20 season and scored twice during his 159 minutes on the pitch. Dylan’s success meant that he was awarded a one year scholarship deal with the Mariners before moving to Europe to play for Polish fifth-division club Sportis SFC Lochowo after deciding to chase a contract in Europe.

Ruiz-Diaz enjoyed productive youth stints with Blacktown City, Sydney FC and Western Sydney Wanderers.
